I’m beginning to wonder how I got any writing done when I had a day job. There are so many things to DO, details that need taking care OF. It boggles the mind. Maybe I just didn’t do those things when I was working, or maybe I did them from work. Who knows.
I am back into Glimmer Girls. (Do I hear a resounding YAY!?) And there is SO MUCH material. It’s become so cumbersome to edit and add new material that I’ve decided to pull it apart and work on one POV at a time. So now I have a file named Clara and I’m searching for all her bits so I can make sure she has a cohesive story line, character arc – all the la-dee-dah.
When I’m done with Clara I’ll move on to Dilly and then Henry.
Morris does not have his own POV, but he definitely has a story arc and I need to think more about him. He seems very important to me, but I’m not sure how yet. He’s a bit of a mystery is our Morris. But in a good way. Undeniably in a good way.
So I’ve got three Points of View that need to be woven together into one cohesive whole. I’m telling you one first person POV is a sight easier to pull off. But I’m working on it. I am.
I’ll leave you with a small Gallery of photos - images that are somehow connected to the story for me. Not that they’ll make sense to you. Of ten it’s the feeling in a photo that evokes emotion for me. Go figure.
