I’m working on polishing Glimmer Girls, using it for toward my MFA work, while at the same time poking away at the fourth Bree.

I’m having a bit of trouble with the fourth Bree so I’ve started to play “what if.”  The end of Bree three left her at the start of and traveling adventure, which so far is boring. Something about the setting, or the traveling or something. The journey is not working for me so I’m playing what if.

Like what if Bree and Hambecker got separated?

Okay, I’ll admit it, that’s where I’m stuck at the moment. Wait, I’m getting an idea:

What if Bree and Hammie got separated, and Bree finds herself in a strange city with no money, has to keep a low profile because several someone’s are trying to kill her, but also survive until she finds Hammie again?

Now we’re getting somewhere…

Yes you are getting somewhere. And that pic is worth 10,000 words.

and she meets up with a teen-age runaway with a story of his/her own that ends up intersecting with Bree’s story?

I was going to try to think of more, but coffee is needed first.
