I found this in my drafts. Didn’t I already post this? Somebody run back through the last couple of months and tell me if this is a repeat. I could do it myself, but I’m busy. Thus the “Oh look, a finished blog! I’ll use that.”
I’m having a love/hate relationship with my camera. It’s a Kodak Z650 and it does what I want most of the time. I get some decent pictures. Not as good as Sue’s from 129 Twig and Vine, but Sue is exceptional.
The problem is I don’t know how to ask this camera to behave like a film camera. I want to take pictures of the moon on the snow. It’s quite beautiful outside tonight. (My leg hurts so I can’t sleep.) If I had my old film camera and some 400 speed film I could get pictures. I could put the camera on my tripod (or the window sill) open the f stop and take some really cool pictures.
I might even catch a fox or deer slipping by in the night.
And maybe my camera could take pictures in the night – if I only knew how to ask it. But I don’t, so here’s another couple of birdhouse photos to entertain you instead.
