Why would I do such a horrible thing? Stealing content? It’s bad, is it not?
certainly. I could explain it to you, but I think I’ll just show you:
I think it’s the dad thing. My own father passed away a few years back. Not that he was every very involved in my life.
My kid’s father is pretty serious. He’s a decent dad in his own way, but not much good for just havin’ a laugh. I had a friend – a guy – that I used to ride around with. Not in a back hoe – it was a pickup. But boy, he was great for havin’ a laugh. I miss that. He used to say “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” when I had my knickers in a twist. I liked that life with him was relaxed. He smiled a lot.
He wasn’t a father then. But I bet he made a good one. Someone to have a laugh with.
I hope Lucy and Alastair will forgive me for hijacking content from thier blogs. It’s just that they always have the best stuff!
