One of these days I’ll learn to put the puppy on a leash when she needs to go out between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. Or maybe I’ll just learn to ignore her until after 7 am. I don’t know. Last weekend I was up at five because I stupidly let Pippin out to do her business. The problem was a mourning dove who had the audacity to sit on a telephone wire within Pippin’s line of site.

She would. Not. Stop. Barking.

She also would. Not. Come. When. Called.

She would. Not. Come. For. Treats.

You would never know I used to train dogs for a living. Police Dogs. I even trained a dog for a hollywood producer. (This must be like the plumber’s plumbing and the mechanic’s car.) So anyway. It was a beautiful morning so I got my camera out and took pictures between shushing the dog. This is a slide show. I think you click it to make it work, but truthfully, I don’t know.

Yeah, not such a problem with cats. I’m getting cats when I get my own place. 🙂 (Yes, I know they come with their own special bits of hell as well.)

I hope you manage to get Pippin trained soon so you don’t have to stand in the dark shushing her. 😀 Glad you were able to take some pleasure in the morning. Nice photos!
