Nobody home, yet again.

As much as I’m trying to keep a regular schedule here on the blog I’m falling down on the job again. I have plenty to say, believe me. I love listening to myself talk. But with the advent of school coming back into session after Irene I am back at work. It’s putting a huge cramp on my ability to blog, write, pontificate etc…

On the better news front, a first paragraph for a new book popped into my head fully formed this morning while I was in the shower. I wrote it down so I wouldn’t lose the words and it’s waiting for when I finish NYKoD. And I’m about ready to go and re-read Glimmer Girls for another edit too.

So chat among yourselves and if you’re lucky I’ll post that paragraph in the next couple of days!

Um, Julie? 3:55 am? No, not chatting right then.

New book by Kate? Yay!!

Clean-up from Irene – dead trees have been cut down and removed. Basement has been mopped with bleach. Hot water heater pilot re-lit and working fine. Generator returned from friend who didn’t have power for a week. I know you had it much worse and I hope you are all recovering as well as possible.

I’d chat, but no one else has shown up yet. Right, who am I kidding, I’m just like you, I can talk to a potted plant. Hmm, bad example.

New books by Kewl Kate! Yipee!
