My Encounter with an Alien

in Entertaining nonsense and profound thought

Because I’ve been doing a lot of interviewing for jobs – rats I can’t even say what I really want to in case a prospective employer looks up my blog… Anyway, because I’m busy I haven’t been around. So I’m showing you a picture of the alien life form that landed on my back at a Dartmouth Football game. I wish we’d taken video because this thing was breathing and it’s head separated from it’s body with each breath. Scary.

I was calm until I realized it had latched on to me with its claws. That kind of freaked me out. I’m funny that way.

Omigod, I didn’t know that bugs breathed! And that’s horrifyingly ugly and large! I think I would have screamed and jumped around shrieking “get it off! get it off!” and generally upsetting everything and everyone around me. And then sat, inside, shuddering for a week. I think you are very courageous to even have a picture of it to show to us! ::shudder:: What the hell IS it?

I’m not sure WHAT planet that thing is from. And they are even stranger looking when they fly.

Yikes. It is fairly scary looking and I’m not scared of bugs.
