Movies: Your Favorite Romantic Suspense

in Entertaining nonsense and profound thought

Ah, yes, I need you. Reach back into your memory banks and tell me this:

What is your favorite romantic suspense movie of all time? I’m looking for movies with strong female protagonists. (Not Goldie Hawn in Birds on a Wire.)

Here – I’ll start you off… Mr and Mrs Smith. That one’s pretty good!

Romantic Suspense. Does that mean, “will she love him and will he love her back?” or “she loves him, but threatens to be killed while crossing the city to meet him at the love nest.” Not sure I know this genre well!!!
Maybe Heaven would be right for this? http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/60024971?strkid=477166630_0_0&trkid=222336&movieid=60024971

not totally romantic suspense, but the remake of the Italian Job is wonderful. I’ll have to think about this some more!

Thomas Crown Affair – The remake with Rene Russo. She was spectacular!

Well, I don’t know if this would be considered “romantic suspense” but it’s a TINY bit suspenseful… Kate and Leopold. One of my faves!
