Lightning on Snow

February 7, 2011 · 1 comment

I haven’t been here much lately. I’m posting like crazy on other people’s sites for my blog tour. It’s a lot of work, harder than posting here because here I can post whatever pops into my head. I have to actually think about what I’m saying on when I’m guest blogging.

Anyway, I’d appreciate it if you’d drop by my guest blogs. It’s reciprocity. I get exposed to new people in new places, and I expose the host blog to people who follow me over. So if you have a minute go visit.

Now, on to the topic above. Last night we had lightning during a snow storm! I’ve never, ever seen lightning and snow before. It’s pretty dang spectacular to see the light flash off the snow. I wish I could have taken a picture of that. I couldn’t but I do have pictures of the world out my window. These are what I see when I open my eyes in the morning.

See the clothes line? I don’t know if you can tell from this picture but the snow is halfway up the pole. We’re finally getting our snow this year. We had hardly any last year, maybe a foot on the ground for most of the winter. I’d say we have at least three feet now.

There are also pictures of our road. There were taken after the big snow last week. I wanted you to see where we live. It’s kind of fabulous!

Stay warm everyone.

“Kinda fabulous?!” I’d say WAY fabulous. Thanks so much for sharing this. It’s raining here. Bleh. I am absorbing your winter beauty from these photos.
Went to the first guest blog, and tomorrow I will go the other one. I DO like poking around on all the new (to me) sites.
