It’s Conference Time Again

in Public Service Announcement

Last year I was fortunate to be the chair for the NECRWA conference, held for the first time in Salem, Mass. I won’t brag on it because I’m obviously biased. But on the whole, NECcon is consistently one of the finest writing conferences I attend each year. They (we, I’m a member) bring high quality speakers, great food, fabulous workshops and a good time. It’s held April 27 – 28 this year, a Friday and a Saturday. If you are a writer, or an aspiring writer, I highly recommend it.

There’s a link below, but I’ll start you off with this:

2012 NEC Let Your Imagination Take Flight Conference

Keynote speakers include best selling authors Kristan Higgins and Marie Force
Extra
Workshop speaker is story and script consultant Michael Hauge, who will

Friday night speaker is well-known spiritual guide Roland Comtois.
We have a ton of great workshops planned as
well as a bookfair on Saturday. A/E

I so wish I could go this year, but I’m doing a different one (SCBWI) the week before. I need to win the lottery or something. (And hire a nanny.)
