Here’s what I think:

in Entertaining nonsense and profound thought

When you are (I am) so tired that you fall asleep sitting up in your chair while writing it’s time to give yourself (myself) a break.

I’m really have a heck of a time sleeping with this cast on. It’s to the point of being ridiculous. I literally fell asleep while working and typed a million fs. Thank god for undo.

Yes, falling asleep on your keyboard does mean it’s time to take a break.

Sorry the cast is making sleeping difficult. Have you tried the homeopathic sleep remedy Calms Forte? It’s non-habit-forming and it doesn’t leave you feeling drugged. It might help you relax enough to sleep a bit better. Just a thought.

Breaks are a good thing. ;)

Last week of NaNo I was getting up at 2:00 am or earlier (for the team effort) and I have continued the practice in the week since. It has made for some great writing time but by evening I’m a zombie. If I sit down, I’m asleep.

I guess we have to sleep sometime, Judy! And if we don’t our bodies make the decision for us. I wish I could write when I wake up at night, but usually my leg is hurting me and I can’t concentrate on the words.
