The thing is I don’t like uneven years. I know, it’s strange. But they make me uneasy. Especially in the beginning when they haven’t shown their true colors yet. Of course 2012 pretty much stunk, and it was even. But I still wish I had a lucky rabbit’s foot (not really) or a four leaf clover or something to ward off the bad feeling I’ve got.

Oh wait. Maybe this isn’t a bad feeling after all. Maybe it’s excitement and I just didn’t realize it. Okay good. I’m excited for the new year. whew.

The Bloggess latest post is about this. She has renamed 2013 The Library because 13 is too triggering for her.

Let me know your address, Katie-Kate. I’ll send you a four-leafed clover toute de suite. Happy(er) 2013!

Woo Hooooo! Bring on 2013, we are READY for all new good and beautiful things. For us all!

(I agree, excellent re-frame.)

Also? We need treehouses, just sayin’.

Way to turn that queasy feeling around! I think I have a four leaf clover somewhere that I can give you. Remind me if I forget. Never hurts to have a four leaf clover! Happy New Year. Let’s show 2013 what’s what.

It’s odd how we take a dislike to random things. I figure, approach the world with a smile this year and everyone in the world is gonna smile back.

I blogged about the difference between last New Year’s Eve and last last New Year’s Eve (geddit) and it is all about the focusing on the good.

I wish you tons of good for 2013, Kate. You deserve it.
