Remember the Eleven Questions I stole from the Cherries? I’ve got two more for you. Yes, I’m crunched for time yet again!
7. What is your comfort food/meal/drink and why do you turn to it for comfort?
Ice cream. Ice cream can make anything better. Frozen fat and sugar. Yum. It’s a hold over from when I was a kid. Although I don’t remember my mom giving us ice cream very often, I’d go to the neighboring farm and Jenny’s grandma would give us ice cream.
My second favorite thing is graham crackers in milk. It has to be in a glass because if you put it in a bowl it’s too much like cereal. I’m not that fond of cereal. And I have to eat at least part of it before it gets soggy. I don’t even remember how or why I started doing this. But when I’m really stressed, or really unhappy that’s what I do.
8. What two novels would you most enjoy put together as a mash-up?
Now this is an interesting question. They would have to be different enough to add interest to each other. So maybe Jane Austen’s Emma with something by Issac Asimov. How about Pride and Prejudice and I, Robot? Or Crusie’s Welcome to Temptation and H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds? This is very interesting, if I had time I might actually write a mash up for fun!

7 Fudge even though I’m not pregnant.
My mother has 6 sisters & 1 brother. All of them eat saltines and milk. Especially at bedtime. There must be something comforting there.
8 I would like to see the Unfortunate Miss Fortunes take on some mysogynistic asshat but I can’t think of who.
7. Comfort food (pregnancy)–chocolate milk. Otherwise, pizza b/c of the amount of melty cheese one can consume.
8. Oooh–tempting to say Eye of the World (wheel of time #1) and Soulless so the civilized vampires and Bureau of Unnaturals could sweep in and straighten out all the misguided magic people in Robert Jordan’s universe–I would love it if dandyish Lord Akeldama boxed Rand’s ears and told him to quit whinging and stand up straight!
Alternately, Garden Spells meets Agnes and the Hitman. Have Cranky Agnes teach abused Sydney how to use a frying pan the right way.
