At 2 am You Don’t Have To Eat It All

I’ve almost convinced my self that when I get up in the night because my leg hurts and I need to take some generic painkiller so I can eventually go back to sleep, but then I wander into the pantry – I’m not even sure why I was in there – and the cheddar popcorn catches my eye, so I fill up a handy leftovers container and take it back to bed with me, but then my mouth gets all dry and puckery and a piece of popcorn feels like it’s stuck in my throat so I have to get up and take a drink…  it’s okay not to eat the rest of the popcorn I poured myself.

I can put down the leftovers and walk away.

Have you been taking Arnica tablets? Or any sort of bonemending tinctures/teas/tonics?
(Sorry about all the “t” words, Lora mentioned alliteration and now I can’t stop. Blame her.)

I’m worried about you having to deal with pain that needn’t be suffered through. Did you try my Trifecta of Pain Relief combo? (One ibuprofen/Advil or Motrin, one acetaminophen/Tylenol, one sodium naproxen/Aleve.) Can you dose up with NyQuil or their new sleepytime product? You won’t heal if you aren’t in that bed to do it.

Oh how I love your sMothering, Julie! I haven’t tried the Trifecta, but what seems to be working is Hot Chocolate with a shot of Amaretto (I don’t usually drink, but if it means I can sleep I’m in!) and two ibuprofen. Now I’m going to do the spiked HC and the Trifecta. Brilliant.
