And The Winner is: The Willow

Yes, I know this is pretty much the same picture as the last post. But it’s raining outside, and I don’t want to have to get soggy getting another picture, especially as it looks exactly the same as this anyway. Except with more rain. The power flickered on and off all evening, and I assume all night but I wasn’t paying any attention by then. I could hear branches cracking and falling in the woods, but nothing near the house, and as the mail and paper were delivered my guess is that our road is clear of downed trees. Almost a non-event here at chez george, except we all have the day off school.

I’m going to try and get some writing done, even though the house isn’t empty. I’ll just bark at the kids if they wander in to bug me.

Thanks to everyone who sent positive energy and *FGBVs to my tree. I’m very happy it is still standing tall.
