So while I should have been here celebrating the launch of Crazy Little thing Called Dead, I’ve been on the Internet researching murder. Gotta write the next Bree, don’t you know. Crazy…Dead is doing well, thank you to everyone who has re-tweeted, clicked, bought, borrowed, Facebooked – you name it, I’m grateful. I’ve sold more books in the first five days of October than the whole month of September.
Meanwhile, I got something great in my inbox that I wanted to share with you. I backed I’m Fine, Thanks on Kickstarter a while back that made its funding goals. My reward will be a dvd of the movie these guys made. Here’s what they say about themselves:
I’m Fine, Thanks is a new, feature-length documentary about complacency. It’s a collection of stories about life, the choices we all make, and the paths we ultimately decide to follow.
I haven’t had a chance to watch the download yet, you know how crazy my life’s been, but I’m really looking forward to the dvd. So that’s great, but what’s even greater, the thing that totally made my day, was this:
Those guys, Grant and Baker, took the time to write a quick thank you and send a photo of it. I smiled so big. Imagine doing that almost 5000 times. Wow. My contribution wasn’t huge, but that made me feel as if I was their most important contributor. How cool is that?
